On the beach by Ellixus On the beach by Ellixus
Essencially, I started this picture to take a break from my other works; and, despite I ended caught up in the some details, I wanted to keep it casual...

So basically, the idea here was that I wanted to relax... and well, an evening on the beach seemed pretty relaxing to me... ^^

Anyway, I hope that you'll like it!

How do people make things from digital art so good? Is it just practice and a good program?

Well, I'd say the program is less important... artists already did great works before, the only difference is the amount of time required to paint them...

Practice is indeed important, but I'd say that learning the fundamental skills is the clue. In other words, even if you practice a lot, if you don't understand what you're painting, the results of that practice will be less productive.

Other important thing is the visual library, the more you know about the world, the more the elements you'll have to play with when you do your work.

Have a nice day!!! :D

Well, you should check the menu on the right side, where it reads "Buy this prints".

There are many options. If you choose, for instance, "Photo", a 12 x 18 inches matte print costs around $14 which I'd say it's a reasonable price. You can also choose the Art Print option, which a little more expensive, but the image is printed in a higher quality paper, more suited to a painting...

Anyway, these are just examples, you should take a look by yourself and see which option better matches what you are looking for :)
